Library

Define, document, and publish standards, policy, and process, working to understand where to focus to fill gaps rather than recreate

Definition:

It is critical for any governed system to have a system of record and reference to ensure standards can easily be referred to, decision records are maintained and supporting information is easily accessible.

The Verifi governance library is built during this phase of the framework and results in a comprehensive amalgamated repository that houses a collection of  your organisations agreed standards, processes, procedures, and data rules from a variety of sources, to guide and support effective data management practices within an organisation. The Verifi library utilises your existing sources of record along with a bespoke library of governance data and process rules and ensures these documents are easily available to all.

Some examples of what is stored within the Verifi Library:

  • Standards: Data Classification Standards, Data Naming and Conventions, Metadata Standards
  • Processes: Data Collection and Entry Processes, Data Quality Assessment Processes, Data Lifecycle Management Processes, Change Management Processes
  • Procedures: Data Access and Authorization Procedures, Data Retention and Archiving Procedures, Data Incident Response Procedures, Data loading Procedures
  • Data Rules: Data Validation Rules, Data Retention Rules, Data Usage Rules
