As the Director of Governance Services at Verifi Governance, Kevin plays a pivotal role in driving the company's mission to deliver comprehensive data and process governance solutions that enable our clients to operate incompliance with regulations, prioritise safety, and optimise cost. With a strong background in oil & gas and the wider energy industry, Kevin possesses a deep understanding of the importance of data and process governance in today's business landscape.
Prior to joining Verify Governance, Kevin led the Digital Transformation team at a successful UK oil and gas producer where he played a pivotal role in driving governance excellence to deliver tangible results. In a career spanning over 15 years Kevin has developed a broad experience base spanning Subsurface, Operations, CCUS, Hydrogen, Digital Transformation and Technology and including a secondment to the UK’s regulator (NSTA). Kevin holds an MSc in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Heriot-Watt University and an MEng in Electronics from The University of Edinburgh.
Kevin is responsible for a team of experts who work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and create a customised governance solution that supports their goals. They excel in analysing clients' unique requirements, and overseeing the successful and sustainable implementation of data governance and process governance initiatives.
In his free time Kevin actively contributes to the industry by participating in panel discussions and a number of cross industry work groups. Kevin was an Executive Committee Member and the Digital Technical Programme Committee Chair for SPE Offshore Europe 2023.
